If you know your CAM basics (cut step over, cut depth, RPM, feed rate, and so on) and there's a way to run windows programs on Mac like how Linux has WINE for running them then I'd suggest checking out PixelCNC which is geared towards the more artistic side of CNC instead of the professional manufacturing side, which is what Fusion 360 is and ironically what everyone is always recommending in spite of its limited capacity for doing non-manufacturing-centric artistic stuff.
